We focus on whatever you want: conversation, reading comprehension, TOEFL preparation, writing ability, accent elimination, or all of the above. I have extensive experience with speakers of Spanish, Russian, Ukrainian, Polish, and many other languages, and have helped everyone from law students to actors to aspiring writers to sales representatives.
My approach is different from tutors and schools, who just give you a mountain of paperwork and leave you with only a “classroom” understanding of English. The focus is on real conversation, and the goal is to make you fully capable of expressing your ideas, thoughts, and feelings in proper English. My job is to speak with you, listen to you, read your writing, and correct the mistakes while also teaching you new words and phrases so that you can be more fluent and easily understood by others.
Because there is so much attention given to how you speak, there will also be a strong emphasis on phonetic skills, so that the proper syllables are accented and you are able to speak more clearly and effectively. It is important to remember that the more you practice, the better you will become, and the farther you will go!
I can respond to whatever questions you have and listen to everything you say, in order to help you improve your vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation quickly and effectively!
